Digital Leader Fireside Chat: Christopher Kearns
I attended the virtual fireside chat featuring Christopher Kearns on November 6th, 2020, hosted by IBIT. Christopher Kearns highlighted his personal experience working from home this year and what he believes will come from this very different time in the business world. He states the challenge after the pandemic turns over will be for companies to create an environment at work that makes employees want to come to work. Employees will have experienced the ability to perform just as well, if not more, all without having to leave their homes; what will make them want to return to the office? For Kearns, it\\\’d be having a physical whiteboard to efficiently jot down all his thoughts from an engineering-based mind! Christopher\\\’s comments and observations only add to my wonders about my own upcoming post-graduation concerns: will my first real-life professional experience still be in my own home when the time comes?
