Experience
My primary experience occurred within the College Band Director’s National Association Intercollegiate Marching Band. Not only performing for the first intercollegiate marching band, I was the student team lead for web development. In a span of 3 weeks, I along my small team collaborated, collaborated with other teams in different departments to gather data from sponsors, partners and others involved to create a website from scratch that has quality user experience. The site recently launched on January 12, 2021, following the Intercollegiate Marching Band’s virtual halftime performance at the College National Championship. I am still currently volunteering with the organization.
My other experiences include working at Nike and Shoprite. While at Nike, I utilized a mobile checkout system which allowed me to create better customer flow through the store drastically reducing wait lines during peak periods, provide excellent customer service. Working at Nike allowed me to hone in on my team building skills as multiple personnel were involved in the maintenance of each department. Working at Shoprite allowed me to focus on my organization and customer service skills by maintaining the frozen department as well as guiding all customers to the products that they may need to have a quick and easy shopping experience.
