Sport Technology Intern

Bquipped, LLC

July 2016 – Present | Philadelphia, PA

• Directly assisted the CEO of a data-centric sports equipment technology startup company in a variety of tasks focused on business development, data analytics, web design, and more.

• Uncovered valuable insights for strategic decision making by analyzing and reporting on data for senior management review, using information collected by Bquipped’s expert survey technology.

• Aggregated and normalized athlete survey data in excel sheets for seamless import to Tableau, where custom dashboards were developed to identify trends and discover insights.

• Led efforts to expand the company value proposition through pioneering an Ice Hockey data initiative by advising colleagues in research, performing web data extraction, and creating surveys for data collection.

• Held over 10 office hours per week, assisting roughly 30 peers on a weekly walk-in basis.

• Explained course material to peers in an easy to understand manner, and related course concepts to real-world business scenarios for enhanced understanding and memorization.

• Provided final exam review sessions with an average attendance of 60 students to assist in teaching key concepts for the exam, and answering any questions students may have.
