IBIT Fireside Chat: What are the Pros and Cons of Careers in Consulting vs. Corporate? Featuring Ron Kim

Ron Kim was an amazing speaker defining the differences between working in a consulting position as opposed to working within the industry. The main key points I took from the chat were mostly fixated on the consulting part of his presentation, as I am someone interested in exploring this field. One of the biggest things that got me hooked into consulting was Mr.Kim phrased it, \”a high degree of autonomy\”. He explained it as a sense of freedom, which I thought would fit personally well with someone like me who can manage time well. He also spoke about the ability to network with others was a huge advantage, which Fox does really well to try to emphasize to all of its students. Overall, this presentation has gotten me interested in other fields within MIS that I never thought I would be interested in.
