Alumni, employers, faculty, support staff, student organization leaders, peer advisors, and the Deans will show our freshman and transfer students what it means to be a Fox Business Student.  Students are being told to dress business casual for this networking event.  They will need to “find” at least one person from a particular category.

Only the new students will be wearing nametags, as the goal is have them develop their networking skills by approaching someone they do not know and initiating a conversation.  They will know that anyone without a tag is someone with whom they should be networking.  They will need to find six different types of folks to be entered to win the iPad and other prizes (Diamond Dollars, Fox items).

Each alumni, faculty and staff member can only sign one category for a student.  The purpose will be to make the students engage.  They should not just walk up and ask us our name/which category we fit.  We should have a question for them so that they actually have to spend a few minutes with us.

Refreshments will be provided by Fox and General Mills.  We anticipate at least one major network and a few reporters (internal and external) to be present!

I am looking forward seeing you at this fun event!
