Congratulations August 2012 Graduate!

Dean M. Senior Portraits for the 2013 Templar Yearbook will begin on Monday, July 23^rd in the Student Center Room 217B.  It is important that you schedule your appointment now by logging onto www.ouryear.com, entering school code 87120 or by calling 1-800-OUR-YEAR™ (687-9327), during normal business hours.

If you attend class at or live near the AMBLER CAMPUS, you may have your portraits taken there instead.  A photographer will be available on Wednesday & Thursday, October 10^th & October 11^th from 10am – 6pm in Bright Hall Room 202.  To schedule an appointment, please log onto www.ouryear.com, school code 87202 or call 1-800-687-9327 during normal business hours.

When you schedule your appointment, you will receive complete information on how to prepare for your portrait sitting.

Dear Fox and STHM students

 

Did you ever dream of being the commencement speaker at graduation? Here is your chance. Applications are now being accepted for both the university commencement ceremony, as well as the Fox/STHM diploma ceremony.

 

All graduate and undergraduate students are eligible to be the student speaker at the Fox/STHM ceremony. Only UNDERGRADUATES are eligible for the university commencement ceremony student address.

 

Please view the attached materials for the Fox School of Business and School of Tourism and Hospitality Management. The deadline to return your application is Monday, February 13, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. All students will need to present their speeches before a Fox/STHM student selection committee on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 between 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  This committee will choose 3 finalists, one from each of the following categories: Fox undergraduate, STHM undergraduate, and Fox/STHM graduate students. Those finalists will be ranked with the highest being selected as the Fox/STHM student speaker. If this person is selected by the university committee to be their commencement speaker, the person ranked second highest will be the Fox/STHM student speaker.

 

The two undergraduate finalists nominated by the Fox/STHM committee will move forward to compete before the university student selection committee on Thursday, March 1, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

5)            Copy of Student’s Speech

 

** Students applying for the University Commencement Speaker should make sure that their speeches focus on the entire university community and capture the celebration of this event for all rather than focus on an individual School/College.

August 2011 graduates, have you registered to attend the graduation ceremony?!

If you are planning to attend the Fox School of Business Graduation ceremony on September 9th, the DEADLINE TO SUBMIT YOUR RSVP IS FRIDAY, AUGUST 19TH.  Please note: Tickets are limited and there is no guarantee that the maximum amount (3) will be available for distribution after the deadline ends so, if you’re planning to attend please register NOW!

You can register on our website: http://www.fox.temple.edu/advising/augdetails.html – select Graduation and then select August Graduation.  It will take you to our information page where you can register to attend.  Please notice the start and deadline dates for picking up your tickets and announcements.  There will be no distribution of graduation paraphernalia after the deadline!
