Hello, I am Randi Coward a sophomore at Temple University’s Fox School of Business. I recently made the decision to change my major from Marketing to Entrepreneurship. After extensively comparing the programs and spending my freshman year as a marketing major I knew it was time for a change and entrepreneurship was exactly what I needed to bring myself closer to my career goals.
During my freshman year I reached academic heights by obtaining a cumulative GPA of 3.9 and achieved the Deans List for both Fall 2010 and Spring 2011. Now it is time for me to become a more well rounded student. I am currently a member of the Entrepreneurship Student Association in which I am on the Marketing and Procurement committees. My goal is to redirect the focus of ESA, by focusing more on helping the members achieve their set career goals. I have also participated in service projects with Temple University’s Circle K. The most recent project I participated in was at Philabundance–a food bank for Delaware Valley–where we helped to organize the food donations received from food drives and grocery stores.
I hope to find experience in my field of entrepreneurship by working at an internship or with a start up company for the up and coming 2012 summer.
