Rebecca Vinogradov

My name is Rebecca, but in seventh grade a friend said it was too long and decided Beka was better. It stuck. Nearly 12 years later, it still takes me a few seconds to realize someone calling out “Rebecca” is talking to me.

I am a senior at Temple University’ Fox School of Business & Management, majoring in Accounting with a minor in Management Information Systems. I am an active member and officer of Temple University’s AIS chapter (Association for Information Systems), a rapidly growing and improving student professional organization.

As I approach graduation, I have begun to focus on what I really want: MS ITACS, Temple’s new masters program for IT Auditing & Cyber Security. I enjoy both my Accounting and MIS classes as well as my responsibilities to AIS and believe a career in IT Audit would allow me to enjoy the best of both worlds.

In addition to being a full-time student, I recently completed two internships within the Corporate IT department of University of Pennsylvania’s Health System (UPHS). I continue to work part-time as a private nanny to several families in Philadelphia, a continuously expanding network I initiated in 2004.
