Throughout my life I have been fortunate enough to participate in many experiences and gain a variety of interests.
Academic Interests
During my years of high school I played soccer for the high school as well as two other club teams tat played very competitively. I also was involved in Student Government and planned our junior and senior proms with my advisor.
Moving to Temple I continued to actively participate in my school and surrounding community. 123 women, including myself, founded Temple’s fifth sorority Alpha Xi Delta. I have held two positions in Alpha Xi since we have founded. I was the intramural chair for the academic year of 2014-2015 and I continue to hold the position of Sisterhood chair. I am also the Vice President of my student professional organization Phi Beta Lambda. I bring in speakers from well known organizations and help to develop our younger members in their professional presence.
Personal Interests
In my personal life I like to stay very active. I enjoy working out and running in order to stay active. I also love going to sporting events of all kinds. My lifelong friends and I went to Canada to see the Women’s World Cup in the summer of 2015. I also love to travel. I have been to Ireland, Poland, Canada, and many of the states in North America. I think there is so much to learn from other countries and the only way to really experience the culture is to go there. I also really enjoy spending time with my family and friends. While I am staying at Temple I like to travel around the city and go to new places that aren’t typical tourist stops with my roommates and friends.
