My Internship at Domain Real Estate

This summer I worked as a Digital Marketing Analyst at Domain. A real estate agency based here in Philadelphia. I worked on a few different projects that allowed the company set a campaign for this coming fall as well as a few other that were run throughout this summer.

Domain needed to update its website and add a few pages to it. I learned how to build a prototype with a program called Justinmind. This helped create a layout for the new website and it also allowed to make a few changes to the pages that were already built. I learned new skills with this program and it was very useful for the future templates that I had to work on during my internship.

I run a campaign called #DomainQuickTips. This campaign was created to give information/tips on how to buy a home, sign up for a loan or just general information about how the real estate world works. Each week #DomainQuickTips were executed on each of their platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. This generated traffic to their website and ultimately it created brand awareness.

Finally, to Analyze the efficiency of each campaign I had to used a very helpful tool that I learned in my Digital Marketing class which is Google Analytics. This powerful application allowed me to gather necessary data that helped me understand how much traffic the website received on daily basis as well as see which pages generated the most traffic on each day. I did not know that I would utilize Google Analytics this much during my internship but it played a significant role on each task I performed.

I have to say that interning at Domain has taught me so much about not only Digital Marketing but also about Real Estate. I started with basic knowledge and ended up learning so many tools that will help me in my future endeavors in the digital world
