Creative Projects
Besides enjoying the analytical side of business, I enjoy spending my time working on creative projects. Since I was young, I have always been trying to work with different mediums to make art. In high school, I used my creative expertise to make bracelets to raise money to support Saint Jude Children Hospital. This was my first business venture, I created a marketing and business plan to spread awareness. In addition, I also utilized Facebook to inform students of the project. As a result, over 400 dollars were raised in a little under a month with all proceeds donated to the Saint Jude Children Hospital.
International Travels
My summer before coming to Temple, I had the opportunity to explore England, France, and Spain. By experiencing different cultures and places I have developed a passion for international business. I hope that one day that I am able to work internationally in London, England so that I can learn more about European values and how business is done.
Rowing
I have been rowing for a little over 4 years now. Two years in high school and two years as a Division 1 athlete for the Temple University Women’s Rowing team. From this experience I have learned a great deal about teamwork, time management, and discipline. Through hard work, my boat placed 3rd in the American Athletic Conference and won the first NCAA medal in the history of Temple University. Working towards a common goal helped create a cohesive team and determined mentality.
