Introduction

 

We want to create an application that will make completing surveys and getting paid easy and fun for people who usually don’t have time to sit at a computer or phone for thirty or more minutes. Our target demographic will be men from the ages of 14 – 30 and women from the ages of 14 – 45.

 

One of the realities in the survey industry is that as people grow up and start to make more money, they become less inclined to take the time out of their day to earn small amounts money completing surveys. Our survey application is not looking to change that reality, we are however looking to expand the age range in which it is still worthwhile for adults to take surveys. We have taken data from the census bureau and other third party surveyors to find the ideal range that we can successfully target.

 

The application will allow users to take surveys and earn money from anywhere they choose(car, home, bathroom, etc) by responding to spoken or written survey questions (this will be based on user preference). Questions will span a wide variety of topics and the questions will be determined based the user’s demographic. Once the question has been stated the user will be given a specific time frame to articulate their answer. After the user answers a specific number of questions they are awarded a small amount of money to their account. One thing to note is that there is not limit to how few or how many questions a person has to complete in one sitting. A user can answer one question and close the app or continue to answer as many as they can. This is something that other survey sites are unable to offer.

 

The application will require a large amount of demographic information when a user signs up. This will make it so that there is  no chance of being kicked out of a survey half way through due being screened out (a large problem with current survey engines).

The application will also have a community aspect. It will allow user’s to share certain answers with the community. The answer will work like a discussion post and can be liked, commented on, or saved. The answers that can be shared will be responses to more controversial or thought provoking topics and will be chosen ahead of time by the moderation team. Users will also be able to add friends and be able to view their friend’s old answers that they chose to post.
