APICS Case Competition
- Sponsoring organization: APICS
- The school round begins on October 1st, 2018 and submission is due on October 31st, 2018. Submissions will be evaluated by school representatives and professional judges from APICS. In December 2018, top performers will be informed and will join the regional round in February 2019.
- From this competition, I have the chance to learn more about the problems concerning supplier relationship management, transportation, inventory turnover, and what metrics to use to measure efficiency.
- I was able to apply my conceptual knowledge from my supply chain courses through working on a real end-to-end supply chain challenge. I also use the techniques learned from my Data Analytics course to perform analysis on the given dataset. Aspire to become a supply chain analyst who wants to work in the tech industry, I found this challenge relatable to problems that I would encounter in the future.
