Classwork
Through my studies at Temple University I have learned a lot of things that I will need to know when I enter the workforce. The classes I have taken have taught me countless things that directly relate to career interests. Through both the 3504 and 3535 classes I have learned so much about project management and what it takes to be a successful project manager as well as business analyst. These are professions that I may want to get into right out of college and seem like a good fit for me. We learn how to prepare documents that we will need to complete if we were to pursue these professions.
In 3504 we had a project from the Business Analyst perspective. We had to build a prototype to present to a the Temple University Press that was a digital supplement for a book of theirs. As a team of 5 we completed various documents as well as built a prototype on justinmind to present to Temple University Press, who loved our project and prototype.

In 3535 we had a similar project but from the perspective of a Project Manager. This project was with the PA Ballet and our group of 5 PM’s had to guide and lead a group of 5 BA’s as well as work to complete our own side of the project. We had to make a binder of all of our documents as well as be there for the BA’s if they had any questions or needed any guidance.

Another MIS project I completed was the Data Analytic’s Challenge. I was on a team with 2 other members and we used a large amount of data and took it and made a visual representation of the data. Our project was about how a change in headquarters location of a large company would affect its employees.
