Student Associate – Subaru of America, Inc.
As an IT student associate at Subaru of America (SOA) Headquarters located in Cherry Hill, NJ, I have gained the industry experience an MIS professional requires. My internship at SOA was a year long which provides me with invaluable detailed oriented long enough industry experience compared to a summer internship of 10 weeks. I was a part of the STARS (Subaru Transnational And Reporting System) team working with Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite). I worked with high level managers and directors in accomplishing various projects throughout the internship that impacted the company very significantly such as: Order-to-Invoice process, Key cut codes transformation and encryption, Audit logs on the jobs performed on the company website, and many other projects. I also worked with an offshore team in India which Subaru has a contract with for development of codes. I also worked in the Development environment using the language of PL/SQL and used the tool of SharePoint to share the documents within the firm along with brushing my skills to the professional level in Microsoft Office. Likewise, formed the skills required for the Business Analyst such as user and stakeholder requirement gathering. documenting the requirements using suitable tools for the developers, ensuring the implementation of the projects, and supporting the project after implementation. This internship overall was filled with invaluable experience and forming of industry experience with skills for the future career.
