Introduction to public speaking
I took this elective in order to gain experience speaking in public and develop my presentation skills. In the public speaking course, I presented speeches in an organized, effective, and impressive style.
Risk management and insurance
This course helped me develop an understanding of the many types of exposure to loss, the alternative methods of treating such exposures, and the role of insurance in personal and business affairs.
Business Law
In this course I studied of the key areas of the law as they apply to business including analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the “S” corporation, “C” corporation, Limited Liability Company, limited and general partnership and sole proprietorship.
