I attended the the Main Line Chamber Talent and Education Network’s Employer-Led Opportunity Knocks: Strengthen Your Personal Brand event. Professionals and students came together for an interactive seminar on early career development and creating a strong personal brand. I had the opportunity to participate in an engaging breakout session with a Vanguard employee who stressed the value of consistency, honesty, and online visibility in the cutthroat job market of today. As a participant, I took part in conversations about how to effectively network, how to express my views both personally and professionally, and how LinkedIn and other platforms influence public opinion. Additionally, I had the chance to network with peers and local companies, where I received helpful guidance on how to match my professional objectives with my personal brand, with a particular emphasis on demonstrating my character during interviews. My grasp of professional storytelling has improved as a result of this experience, and I now have practical advice on how to improve my personal brand both online and offline.
