Interests and Hobbies
Currently Reading: Alan Turing: The Enigma By Andrew Hodges
Reading was an important part of childhood. I still try and keep my free time occupied with new books
Traveling
In fall of 2013 I was lucky enough to be able to study abroad in Rome, Italy. During this semester I took advantage of Europe and explored my passion for traveling. I was able to spend time in the financial hub of London, the beautiful city of Brussels and the clear blue waters of Sorrento. Travel allows me to interact with new people, try new things and see the world in a different way. My adventures don’t always take me across the seas. Every year during one of the breaks in the academic year I take the opportunity to travel somewhere new in the US. I have taken a road trip out to Pittsburgh, a flight down to Texas and most recently drove down the east coast with my roommates to watch the Philadelphia Phillies play at spring training in Clearwater, Florida. Traveling will always be part of my life and I can’t wait for my next trip.
Outdoors Activities
Since I was a kid I have enjoyed spending time outdoors. Every summer I would attend a week long camp near my home town. I would also go camping with my family at Knoebel Amusement Resort. As I got older I began to go on camping trips with my older siblings. I also spent a summer working at the camp I attended as a kid. Living in the city makes it difficult to engage in outdoor activities as frequently, but I do make the effort to make it home to hike on local trails.
