Above and Beyond Connections is an innovative company that aims to deliver personalized services to student-athletes looking to study, train and work in the United States. The company helps to connect students with American institutions to continue with their professional careers while supporting their athletic skills. Throughout my internship, I assisted the team by supporting the strategic and marketing efforts through data analysis. Using Google Analytics, I collected and evaluated data responses from different posts across multiple social media platforms and generated meaningful insights through the results of this data collection. Therefore, the team was able to strategize new implementation methods to social media posts to acquire more students and improve brand perception.
This internship thought me the importance of understanding a targeted audience. Transforming data into actionable insights, helped me and the company to continues improve social media analytics. It is important for companies to interpret the data that is given and how much of this can add value to the table.
