Marketing Technology and Operations Intern

During my Spring 2026 internship as a Marketing Technology and Operations Intern at Workiva, a publicly traded SaaS company specializing in cloud-based reporting and compliance solutions, I worked 20 hours per week remotely within the marketing operations and tech ecosystem supporting cross-functional teams. Some of the teams I was able to collaborate with through my work were with Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Sales. In this role, I contributed to maintaining data integrity, optimizing marketing systems, and supporting company AI initiatives. My responsibilities including conducting AI research, creating maintaining detailed documentation for over 40 marketing tools and platforms using Atlassian Confluence, assisting with the marketing budget rollup views for the company’s Q1 revision, and revising system performances and website engagement.

A key project I worked on involved reviewing a large dataset of chatbot responses from the company’s website, where I identified responses for inaccuracies and contributed to retraining efforts to improve response quality. Additionally, I supported company-wide AI enablement by posting a bi-weekly internal newsletter summarizing new AI features, releases and updates. Through these experiences, I strengthened my ability working with data systems, technical documentation, improving workflows, and supporting tech-driven decision making within the corporate environment.
