Risk Management Chair – Executive Board
I served as Risk Management Chair on the Executive Board of Phi Sigma Sigma, Xi Chapter, from Fall 2025 through Spring 2026. In this role, I oversaw risk management for all chapter events throughout the academic year, including planning and monitoring formal events, socials, and new member activities; presenting and enforcing mandatory risk prevention rules at high-risk events; creating prevention plans and waivers for high-risk events; and completing my chapter’s annual Health & Safety report submitted to Temple University. Through this experience, I learned how to assess and mitigate risk, enforce national and university policies, and handle sensitive situations professionally. This position strengthened my ability to present information clearly and collaborate with other executive board members to ensure the safety and accountability of our sorority. Serving as Risk Management Chair also gave me practical experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating risk, which directly aligns with potential tech and IT risk roles that require risk analysis, policy enforcement, and clear communication to stakeholders.
