Actuarial Science

Academic History

I am currently a junior at the Fox School of Business at Temple University. I am a transfer to Temple for my sophomore year. ‘Temple University offers one of the most distinguished Actuarial Science programs in North America. The program gives students the opportunity to develop a strong background in mathematics and statistics while being exposed to a wide range of disciplines. ‘ (http://www.fox.temple.edu/cms_academics/specialized-masters-program/concentrations/actuarial-science/) I am very excited to be in this program.

I am currently taking AS 2502, Theory of Interest. Before this, I took AS 1501, the introductory course to Actuarial Science. This semester I am also taking Financial Accounting, Leadership and Organizational Management, Marketing Management and Information Systems in Organizations. In Information Systems in Organization, I learned SAP skills as well as other IT material such as Excel. In the past, I have taken  in Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Legal Environment of Business and Law and American Society.

 

For high school, I attended Central High School of Philadelphia. I graduated in the 270th class. During high school, I took various AP classes such as Calculus BC and Statistics.
