Peer Advisor
As a peer advisor for the Academic Resource Center (ARC) at Temple University, my responsibilities included assisting and referring students, promoting ARC services, maintaining records, and collaborating with staff. I supported students regarding course selection and accessing campus resources as well as directed students to appropriate campus resources based on their individual needs, such as the Writing Center and Career Center. I also assisted in marketing the ARC services and events including Temple Preview Days and updating the office announcement slideshow. Further, I was responsible for keeping accurate records of appointments, and collaborated with ARC staff members to coordinate programs to address student needs effectively.
