Data Science:
In the class Data Science, I learned how to quickly sort out unneeded and dirty data in Excel and the Tableau software before using any predictive analysis. Right away, I understood the value of these methods as I instantly saw results that were more accurate to what I estimated the predictions to show me. Before then, I have heard of Tableau from other colleagues, but I never tried using Tableau before.
Information Systems in Organizations:
This class is so far my favorite. I learned about CRM and ERPs. I also was able to relate the decision tree diagrams back to my internship at Monitor Health. Overall, I love evaluating and drawing out system processes in a business to see how a business can cost costs. That is my passion so the class was an exciting introduction to my major in Management Information Systems.
