Go for PHP Developers

The Go for PHP Developers course highlighted the differences between writing code in PHP versus writing code in Go. The main differences lie in the syntax, classes and function. The main takeaways from this course was the differences of PHP and GO apart from writing in those languages. Go is a statically types language which can be used for quick machine code compilation, whereas PHP, is a dynamically typed coding language and is widely used for web development. Go has tools which can help format language and install third party libraries. Meanwhile, PHP does not allow that, and will have to install the libraries manually. Since Google supports Go, it has a larger developer community compared to PHP. One of the main similarities between PHP and Go is that they both can be used to write micro services and are also object oriented programming languages.
