Fox Fall 2025 Connection: Career Fair for Business Majors, hosted by CSPD
I went out to the Fox Fall Connection, a career fair at Temple University put together by the Center for Student Professional Development . As a first-year Management Information Systems major, I hoped to get exposure with employers, get a feel for opportunities of an internship, and experience professional networking at an early age of my college career.
I learned how to present oneself confidently, interview with purpose, and investigate how MIS skills such as data analytics and IT management are applied across sectors. By interacting with recruiters and professionals, I became familiar with what recruiters are looking for from a candidate, why professional relations are crucial at a young age, and how one can further prepare oneself for potential internships and future career prospects.
