Technology Intern
I spent my summer working for PNC in their Retail Consumer Lending Technology Department. Throughout my 10 weeks, I utilized my skills I learned in class to write functional and non-functional requirements, create and execute Java tests, and research new and up-and-coming technology that PNC can use in the future. Working with a spectacular group of interns, we were able to accomplish much more than I thought would be possible.
The internship also gave me an opportunity to learn and develop my skills in new types of software. I used Microsoft SQL Developer to search and mask confidential data and SOAP UI to write and test Java and XML scripts on a daily basis. This experience has been invaluable to my development in MIS.
