Secure a Career in Cloud Computing
In the panel discussion with 5 different panelists, ranging from many different companies, from TD Bank, Chubb Insurance, and Wells Fargo, they talk about cloud computing. They talk about how more and more companies are slowly changing from traditional data centers to public cloud platforms. While this change is great, there are still some problems with cloud computing. The biggest is security, where people can hack in and take everyone\’s data. They showed us a website that shows all the data breaches for different companies and around how many data was leaked for each. We also learned about the top cloud computing services there are: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google. At the end of the panel discussion, people asked questions and I learned about some good tips for internships. Before this panel discussion, I know nothing about cloud computing, so this event was really helpful in educating me.
