This is one of the most exciting and professional experiences I’ve ever had. This job requires my undivided attention every second of the day to make sure the children are safe and behaving. This job taught me how to be extremely responsible for not only my own actions, but for the lives of all the children. Even though this job requires a lot of responsibility, it has many awards too. Helping and watching these children learn and grow is one of the most rewarding things.

When I first started babysitting as a young teenager, I really had no idea what I was doing. Over the years, I learned from tons of experience that helped me not only help me progress as a babysitter, but as a person too. I have the responsibility of watching children of all ages, preparing meals, helping with homework, distributing medicine, and making sure that the children are on schedule at all times. It is a huge responsibility, but it really prepared me for my job at the daycare.

Having a passion for swimming and being on the swim team for countless years made becoming a lifeguard and swim instructor one of the best decisions I made.I enjoyed instructing children ages from four to twelve years old basic and intermediate levels of swimming. I loved sharing my passion of swimming with them to help them learn and love it too. Lifeguarding was one of the tougher jobs that I have ever had because these children’s lives were in my hands. I knew that anything could happen in a split second; I had to keep my guard up and keep a watchful eye out. This job not only required me to be responsible for myself, but others too, it also taught to follow my passions wherever life takes me.
