Broadridge Internship
Broadridge is a provider in investor communications and technology-driven solutions for wealth management, asset management, and capital market firms. The Investor Communication Solutions business involves the processing and distribution of proxy materials to investors in equity securities and mutual funds, as well as the facilitation of related vote processing.
This summer, I joined the Investor Communications team in the Mount Laurel, New Jersey office. My role as a college intern was to assist in the research and documentation of historical client PostEdge system customizations. My responsibilities included analyzing client set up, data, and web sites. This opportunity allowed me to expand on personal critical thinking and analytical skills gained from my Enterprise IT Architecture and Data Analytics classes. Simultaneously, while gaining hands-on experience in a business technology environment, this internship provided an extensive amount of language-based classes as a source of training – I focused on learning more about C++, Javascript, Java, SQL, Batch scripts, XML, HTML, and Powershell.
