My Work Experiences
Customer Service Work Experiences:
I began working as a customer server for The Metropolitan American Diner and Bar in May of 2011, with my last day back in May 2015. The Metropolitan is located in North Wales, PA. This restaurant is family oriented and owned that can seat a maximum of 235 guests. I replenished supplies throughout each shift and assisted my managers with banquets that range from 18 to 45 people in each party.
Cabo Fish Taco is a bar-style restaurant located in Blacksburg, VA. I worked as a customer server at Cabo from June until December 2013. I served as a hostess when it was necessary during the Virginia Tech football season to assist my manager with seating arrangements.
From October 2012 until February 2013, I was a student caller for Virginia Tech. I contacted alumni, parents, and friends to build lasting relationships, provide positive information about Virginia Tech, and promote investing in higher education. I analyzed the program with other callers in a team oriented environment to further development.
I was a host, customer server, and sub-manager at the Holiday Inn in Fort Washington, PA during the summer of 2011. I managed customer service for a 70 seat hotel restaurant, as well as a 100 seat banquet hall for large parties. I reconciled daily activity by processing cash payments, credit payments, and bank deposits. I supervised part-time staff and trained employees on in house POS software development in the hotel restaurant.
