Journal Entry 4
This week we focused on ironing out roles. Since our team is quite large with many BAs, the task is not as challenging as expected. There are people who really want to prototype and the rest are also fine with contributing to an assigned role. The job of assigning roles is much easier when there are people who know what they want to do. However, we still need to make sure that all the resources are assigned efficiently so the project gets done right and in time. Communication with our BAs is a bit spotty and needs to be quickly fixed. Due to some poor communication, some of the analysts weren’t aware of the third interview and did not come prepared. This shouldn’t have been a problem, but in order to recover we need to enforce some changes in communication. Ultimately, I don’t have any doubts that our team will not be able to recover and I do expect serious improvements after break.
