Erickson Living – Maris Grove

Maris Grove is a retirement community that employs one hundred part-time high school students. I was employed with Maris Grove for two and-a-half years throughout my high school career. While employed, I was assigned work in the kitchen at one of their on-campus restaurants. My duties consisted of: preparing and cooking food to be served to residents, serving food, cleaning and maintaining a healthy workplace for the other Restaurant Associates, and training new employees so they will have necessary skills to get through a shift at Maris Grove. I networked with many people that I will keep in contact with for the rest of my life.
