Interests and Hobbies

As a college student, I am very active and always keeping busy. When I’m not attending classes or studying and completing homework, I am working at my two part-time jobs. I currently am employed at Temple University Parking Services on main campus, where I provide office support. Additionally, I am an Information Technology Assistant and a part of an In-Class Support team for the MIS Department. I provide support for two courses, Information Systems in Organizations and Enterprise IT Architecture. I also am the Vice President of Professional Development for the Association for Information Systems. Being deeply involved within the MIS department has allowed me to gain more insight into this major and career path. Also, I have grown closer with the faculty and get to learn more about their past experiences.

Also, ever since I was a child my father always had computers around, most of the time taken apart. I became very fond of computers and technology as I got older and had my dad teach me different things, like how to use different softwares and programs. I love learning new things about technology and reading articles on the latest innovations and discoveries. This is one of the main reasons I declared MIS as my major here at Temple University. It has been one of the best decisions I have made and am sad that I am already a senior in this program.

In my free time I enjoy reading, cooking and exploring the city of Philadelphia. I also love traveling outside of the city even more. I have visited and lived in many states, including Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, California, Missouri, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Texas and of course Pennsylvania. Within these states I have been to various different places and have seen many natural and historical site. I enjoy seeing the different places around America. I dream about traveling the world one day, more than anything I would love to visit Europe.
