khkMy first fall at Temple University in 2012, I was honored to accept a bid from the Delta Nu chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon sorority. Not only am I in an organization with over 140 amazing and driven women, ΔΦΕ  has given me the opportunity to become more involved around campus. This happens through our four primary philanthropies, which include the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders, the DPhiE Education Foundation, and the Police Survivors Fund for Philadelphia. With each philanthropy, we focus on numerous community service efforts. This organization of women has not only made me a more confident individual, but has also made a major impact on my life for the better.

loftMany people may not think of work as a hobby or an interest, but I strongly feel as though work is one of mine. Getting up a majority of days to help clients pick out outfits and show our clients why I truly love fashion is what inspires me. There is no better feeling than helping a woman find an outfit for an exciting event where she feels confident and happy. In addition to helping style, I find joy in working for a company that is so driven with their community. This October, I participated in raising money for Race for the Cure, a Susan G Komen service effort, with my co-workers. You can learn more about Ann Inc’s community efforts here. Not only are we a close knit group of women at work, but we’re a close knit company. I was lucky enough to meet the VP of the Loft branch this summer, and have had the ability to meet numerous representatives from corporate.

craigLastly, I love food. Not just eating it, but the creation that goes into the final product. Cooking is something that I love to do when the time is available. Usually, I don’t follow predetermined recipes, but create what I feel when I’m making it. I’ve found the love of trying new restaurants, as well. Being in Philadelphia, the food opportunities are endless. From a little Greek restaurant in Center City with the greatest flatbread I’ve ever tasted to the well-renowned brazilian restaurant Chima, I’m always up for the adventure of new tastes.
