Food Runner
Since the beginning of the school year, I’ve been working as a Food Runner at the Continental at Midtown. In this role, I’m immersed in a dynamic environment where my responsibilities extend beyond simply delivering dishes. I act as an essential link between the kitchen and the guests, ensuring that every plate is served with precision and timeliness. This job helped me learn and sharpen skills such as effective communication, time management, and thriving under pressure, all that would be effective in any type of field. Moreover, my experience in a fast-paced service sector offers me unique perspectives on operational efficiencies and customer service excellence, both crucial elements in the realm of information systems.
