The presenters were Satarupa Patnaik & Tisha Bhambry, who are presumably experts in the field of cybersecurity. The presentation covered the persistent security challenges faced by organizations. These challenges include a shortage of cybersecurity leadership skills, supply chain interdependence, rapidly evolving regulatory environments, evolving IT operating models, and an increase in ransomware attacks, attacks on IAM systems, critical infrastructure, and data breaches. The importance of this presentation to me is the key focus I want to explore by going into the Cyber Security Field, this presentation I believe helped me be able to grasp the basic concepts of cyber security while also gaining knowledge of new and more trending attacks on systems of companies and organizations, through this I learned a lot of interesting topics on how important these trends are such as: Threat Exposure Manamgnet, Cyber Security Platform Consolidation, Human-Centric Security Design and more.
