Master Your Schedule – Ashton Marquart
For this event, I was tasked with planning out my weekly routine using a digital calendar. I chose to use Google Calendar.
This was the first time I had taken a summer class, so planning out assignment due dates helped me focus while working a full-time job. Previously, I had never used a calendar to track my classes, but I believe using one greatly contributed to my success in this course. In addition, I recently restarted my online business on the fashion marketplace app Depop where I sell vintage clothing. Planning out the weekly tasks such as sourcing clothing from thrift stores, listing items, and dropping off packages was a whole lot more manageable with a set schedule in comparison to my previous strategy of winging it which ultimately failed.
I plan to continue using a calendar this upcoming semester and I believe it will help me to succeed in my future academic and professional endeavors.
