I obtained practical experience working in information systems in a sizable financial services company during my internship at Stifel Financial Corp. In order to enable internal applications and increase data workflows that improved operational efficiency across departments, I worked with the business and technical teams. In addition to understanding how financial institutions incorporate technology into their everyday operations to assist client service and compliance, this experience helped me hone my technical abilities in SQL, C#, and data management. My contributions and performance throughout the internship resulted in a full-time job offer upon graduation, demonstrating my technical proficiency as well as my capacity for professional communication. My interest in the nexus between technology and finance was confirmed by this experience, which also equipped me to start contributing right away in a full-time position.
