In Lead Global Digital Projects, students take the role of a project manager. For this course, students were divided into different teams and partnered with two project managers and business analysts from MIS 3506 – Digital Solution Studios. We complete tasks that project managers would do in the business world. For example, we create communications, quality, risk, and control management plans. Then we create a schedule to guide our BA’s have accomplished tasks by a certain date. By working with other students on a semester long project, Lead Global Digital Projects, is a great simulation for roles and responsibilities of project managers in the real world.
