In my role at Penrose Diner, I handled serving, hosting, and cashiering, giving me first-hand experience with how a busy restaurant operates, especially during peak hours. I used digital systems such as the POS (Point of Sale) system to manage orders and process payments accurately, while also helping customers move smoothly and efficiently from the moment they arrived until they left. This experience taught me a lot about communication, teamwork, and problem-solving, giving me practical skills in managing both people and processes in a fast-paced environment.
