MIS 2101: Digital Systems
This course was very interesting for me because I learned the role of information systems and digital platforms in business and how digital products such as CRM, ERP & SCM are conceived, designed, secured and deployed. I also understood the component-based software architectures and APIs and built simple software applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
MIS 2402: Web Application Development
The Web Application Development course taught me how to create a web-based applications that carry out a business process and integrate web-based services. I also learned how to use loops, arrays, conditional statements, data validation, responsive web design using Single Page Architecture (SPA), and making API calls using GET and POST requests. I really enjoyed taking this class even though it wasn’t an easy subject. This course will help me in building my E-Commerce website in the future. I will continue to improve my coding skills and who know I may end up working as Web developer even though my actual career goal is to become a CPA.

MIS 2502: Data and Analytics
Data and Analytics course was my favorite one because I love Data Analytics and I learned how to navigate and query relational and NoSQL databases to support applications. I also learned how to combine multiple sources of data using extract, transform, load for data cleansing and discovered insights from data using analytics software R and R studio. This course will be very helpful for me in the future because I will use it in accounting data analytics.
