- I performed tax, audit, and advisory services through a rotational program throughout the summer. I reviewed and reconciled invoices against bank statements and authorization lists for completeness and accuracy. I also researched company service lines, business resource groups, values, and policies of the company. Finally, I conducted weekly client calls and team meetings to report progress.

- I reviewed the tax forms and bank statements for a technology firm to confirm accuracy and completeness. I also worked closely with the data analytics service group that utilized different data analytics tools to streamline different tax processes for clients.

- From the internship, I learned that many accounting processes, specifically relating to tax and audits, are becoming more automated and streamlined through technological advancements. A lot of these tools and software I have utilized in my MIS classes including MySQL and Tableau. I am most interested in working with the tax ignition group. This innovative group utilizes digital transformation, data analytics, and systems integration to create efficient systems for tax accounting processes.
