LTK Engineering Part-Time Semester Internship 2016
Presently: I am continuing to work at LTK Engineering in a consulting position for SEPTA Key. As my previous internship with LTK was about backend systems and learning how ERP affects the overall organization, this semester long internship goes through the necessary steps to further benefit my Business Analyst and Project Manager skills. I have been placed on the CCT (Customized Community Transportation) sector of the SEPTA Key Project in order to kick-start one of the last legs of the project. This semester I will be working closely with the heads of CCT in order to elicit information about their current legacy system and to answer questions on their needs and concerns while they move to the new system. One of the biggest things I have to watch out for is to encompass all requirements into a single plan. There are a lot of moving parts for this sector of the project which makes it difficult to keep track of them all. In order to keep track, I have been creating flowcharts to cover the necessary diagrams for the departments needs and taking meeting minutes to release to the team. I have been working closely with system experts to make sure that everything the department needs is brought in the new system. So far, I have reviewed multiple Scopes of Work and I have brought input into the meetings with regards to system requirements.
