Fox School of Business Fall Connection 2019
I attended the 2019 Fall Connection on September 20, 2019, in Mitten Hall, this event was sponsored by CSPD. This event was a valuable experience for me, as I was able to speak face to face with employers in my field and learn more about the opportunities they can provide me. I spoke with Cigna, IBM, and a few other companies about potential internships for students in my major. Many of these companies explained that they were looking to higher graduates for full-time jobs, but encouraged me to look on there websites. This was still a great experience for me and allowed me to improve on my networking abilities, it relates well to my major because all the companies I spoke with are hiring students in the field of IT and data security.
