The cybercrime link from those behind the door (incarcerated) to those in the free world
During the webinar, Dr. Tessa Cole spoke about her experiences in the field of cybercrime. The event was co-hosted by the CARE Lab, Black Girls Hack, and the Women in Cybersecurity and was an open Q&A session which encouraged participants to ask questions. It was very interesting to hear Dr. Cole talk about the dark side of technology and how it can be used against us. One thing that will definitely stick with me from this webinar is how even though technology and artificial intelligence are often viewed as helpful to us, they are equally as dangerous and can lead to terrible things when in the hands of the wrong people.
