Interests/Hobbies
My passions for dance, traveling, and sports is what makes me stand out from the crowd. These passions of mine have shaped me into the person that I am today.
First of all, I love to dance. Dancing is my number 1 passion that I have in my life. I have been dancing since I was 8 years old. I have performed in many stage shows and parties. I have also competed in many competitions and have come first place in almost all of those competitions. I also teach and do choreography for people of different ages ranging from 5 to 75. My passion for dance comes from watching bollywood movies. I was never trained in any form of dancing except in traditional Indian classical dancing such as Kathak and Bharatanatyam. I learned to dance by watching bollywood actors and actresses dance in their movies. In fact, I idealize bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit. She is an amazing dancer and I look up to her.

Another passion that I have is traveling. I love to travel. I love to explore other countries and observe their culture. I think it is important to travel to different parts of the world, meet new people, and observe their culture to understand more about them. I have been fortunate enough to go to Europe and India and a few different states. I feel it is an amazing experience when you get an opportunity to embrace a new foreign way of living and adapting to the lifestyle and surroundings. If I get the opportunity, I would love to travel around the world and, if plausible, see every country and continent.

Another passion that I have is sports. I have been playing sports for almost my whole life. I started out with soccer when I was 8 and played until I was 15. I played for the Montgomery Soccer team which is a soccer league for kids of different ages that live in the Montgomery County. I even played 1 year for my elementary school soccer team when I was in 5th grade. That was the first year that a soccer team was formed for my elementary school. I also played baseball on a Little League team when I was 10. At the age of 13, I joined a bowling league and played on the league for about 2 years. Some sports I like to play on my own time are volleyball, which is my absolute favorite sport to play and tennis. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to play on an actual volleyball or tennis team in school. Having been on teams with others has taught me how to work together in groups to successfully complete a particular task. I also love to watch Sunday night football and cricket.
Some others interests/hobbies that I have are that I am a henna artist. I have been doing this for about 2 years. I do henna for weddings by applying the henna on the bride and the brides family and friends.
