Activities/Interests
Activities:
Beta Alpha Phi
I applied to be a candidate of Beta Alpha Phi during the spring semester of my sophomore year at Temple University. As a candidate of BAP, I attend weekly meetings where I get a chance to hear presentations by recruiters from many different accounting firms, including those of the big four. As a member of BAP I also get a chance to volunteer in a couple of charities such as Cradles to Crayons and Relay for Life. As a future member of this group, I hope to network with recruiters from many different firm, along with networking with my peers.
Intrests:
I am a very big Philadelphia sports fan. It doesn’t matter how disappointing it may be, I am always watching. Along with the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and 76ers, I am also a very big Temple Basketball fan. My father attended Temple himself, so I have been attending Temple Basketball games for as long as I can remember.
Along with watching sports, I also enjoy playing them. During my high school career I played many different sports including soccer, lacrosse and tennis. I still am an avid tennis player, as I play with my little brother, Brian as often as I can. I also have recently started to play golf, and although I am not very good, I still do enjoy playing.
Another interest of mine is playing music. I have been playing the drums since I was in grade school, but I never really played seriously until I was high school, but at the end of the summer of 2013 I began to teach myself guitar. Ever since I started learning, I have been absolutly obsessed. I don’t think I have went one day sconce I started learning without plying for at least a half hour. The guitar has really taught me to be patient, and also to keep my head up and continue to play.
