Philanthropy
In my senior year of high school I was given the opportunity to go on a missions trip to Honduras. The trip was four years ago, but the memories and lessons are still with me today. I was able to see a drastically different side of life and put my life into perspective. The organization that I traveled with was Mama Project. In the week we were there, we laid concrete floors, delivered medicine, and cleaned up numerous schools and school yards. One week of our time changed these peoples’ lives forever. I hope to go back again within the next year or so with another missions trip. This trip taught me to never take my day to day assets for granted, and I am forever grateful for the experience.
