Politics
I try to stay informed with major political happenings in our own government. When I first started learning about our government in my early teens, I struggled to find a political identity. My junior year of high school however, I was able to gather my beliefs and now identify myself as a conservative libertarian. I have since joined the Temple University Student’s for Liberty and plan to continue to support the Libertarian platform.
Screenplay Writing
Though I tend to seek structure, routine, and organization in my work, I have an extremely creative side that I channel through writing film dialogue. A separate ambition from my business oriented goals, I hope to one day shoot my own independent film. I have accrued over a hundred pages of miscellaneous dialogue, scene ideas, film locations, audio selections, and character descriptions over the past few years. Some of my favorite directors include Quinton Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez, Kevin Smith, and Martin Scorsese.
Fishing
I have been an avid fisherman most of my life, even prior to working for Cabela’s in their fishing department. Fishing is a brilliantly tranquil tool for me to focus my concentration on a single goal, unwind after a stressful day, spend time outdoors, and occasionally bring home something to eat. I tend to go for largemouth bass in freshwater and “Striper” fishing when in saltwater, but I have also been deep-sea fishing a few times.
